Inspired to make a difference in education, and with two head teachers for parents, Chris is the driving force behind Incerts.

Whilst at university studying Economics he became involved with AIESEC, an organisation developing socially-responsible young leaders. That took him to Brisbane, Australia where he directed education projects and started to formulate his vision for changing the education system back at home.

Chris is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and was recently chosen as one of the Future 100 Social Entrepreneurs as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Marcus Orlovsky

Marcus is the founder of Bryanston Square, a company that works at a strategic level with schools, Becta, and the NCSL. Since 2002 Marcus has worked with around 500 schools and created £2.5 billion of new buildings through the 'Building Schools for the Future' programme.

Among his previous roles, Marcus has been Director of Recruitment at Ernst & Young and Project Finance Director at Stanhope Properties. Here he borrowed £5 billion to create major developments in the heart of London, including Broadgate, Ludgate, Stockley Park and Chiswick Park.

Dan Matthews

Dan works for an award-winning investment management company, part of a small team that manages funds of around £1 billion. He has qualified as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst and is studying to become a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Dan was the President of AIESEC at the University of Manchester when he and Chris were students together. He has also served on the North West regional board of Young Enterprise, the UK's largest business and enterprise education charity.

Dr Ian Billups

Ian is responsible for the development and technical design of the Incerts software system.

After reading Mathematics at St John's College, Oxford, Ian went on to complete an MSc and then a PhD in Computer Science. He has been a visiting lecturer at the University of Birmingham and the University of Hamburg, specialising in mathematical modelling and in the C++ programming language.

Since then Ian has worked as a software designer. Over the last 15 years he has worked on everything from nuclear submarine configuration to medical image analysis, and more recently on sophisticated, multi-user web-based systems.
